The Association of Iron and Steel Technology chose Amerair Industry, Inc.’s turnkey reverse-air baghouse meltshop ventilation system for the cover of their magazine’s April 2010 issue. The photograph of Amerair’s installation at V & M Star Steel included this brief “About the Cover” caption:

“In August 2009, V & M Star, Youngstown, Ohio, USA, completed the installation of an $18 million baghouse for the EAF-based seamless tube producer. This project has resulted in a 40% reduction in meltshop emissions, representing a cleaner environment for the 425 employees and surrounding community. V & M Star recently announced a $ 650 million expansion including the construction of an additional seamless tube mill with heat treating, end finishing and shipping facilities.
